A LITTLE CHANGE. A NEW POSSIBILITY.
Convert JPG to PNG.
Create a PNG from a JPG photograph or graphic. Preserve decoded pixels for subsequent edits with lossless PNG encoding.
SIMPLE BY DESIGN
Keep the next save lossless.
PNG is useful when a JPG needs more editing or annotation. Converting does not recover detail lost to JPG compression or create transparency. PNG often makes photographs larger. Its presets adjust compression effort while keeping the same pixels; the quality slider does not apply.
- Choose one image.
- Pick an output format.
- Compare the result, then download.
Orientation is applied. Supported RGB and grayscale ICC profiles in JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF and JPEG XL are converted to sRGB. EXIF, GPS and other source metadata are removed. Animations, multiple pages, HDR and ICC-tagged HEIC/AVIF are unsupported. JPEG, GIF, BMP and HEIC output uses a white background.
